Nowhere Slow: News

The band has just re-entered the studio today to finish up the last three or four tracks on the album. We apologize for the delay, but hopefully it will be worth it in the end. So far the album looks like it will have ten to twelve tracks. Here they are in no specific order.

Thanks to everyone at Trax and everyone who came out to see us play at SU. It was a great time, and we're looking forward to doing it again. Also, congratulations to Bill and Marisa who actually got ENGAGED at our April 3rd show at Heil's! Glad we could help. More pictures and calendar dates coming soon so stay tuned!

Just to remind everyone, Rick plays an solo acoustic show at Heil's every Thursday. Hope to see you all there.

Nowhere Slow's little two week break is almost over. Sorry to anyone who showed up at Heil's on Saturday expecting the band, it was a misprint in the electric city (Always double check any date on the website because the webite is the most accurate). Anyway the next show is Monday, April 3rd. See you all there.

Be sure to tune into the Jenn and AJ show this friday morning. Nowhere Slow will be performing throughout the show. The band will be playing some covers as well as "Letter" and "A Boy Like Me" off the new album. This will mark the second time the band has appeared on the show. As mentioned before, the new album (A Stranger in the Alps) is in the works with producers Eric and Ian Ritter. So far seven songs, including reworks of Letter, Far in Between, and With You, have been recorded and four or five more are expected. The band is also filming the studio experience so that a "making of" DVD can come with the album.
Some tracks from the new album should be ready for preview on the site soon. We are still looking for a release in the next couple months if all goes as planned. Also the website has been rearranged. All the site features are still the same, just the look has changed.

Nowhere Slow @ Heil's PLACE ON MONDAY the 26th not Sunday the 25th like the adds say. ALso the band will be giving out 100 free singles of from their upcoming album so get there early.

Nowhere Slow will NOT be playing on Monday, December 12, but will be there on December 19th- Check the calendar for the new show adds.

The show that was supposed to be this FRIDAY at Tink's has been switched to Saturday Night (Dec 10)- @ 11:00

Nowhere Slow will be performing a song live on the "Jenn and AJ Morning Show" on 97 BHT (97.1) this friday. Be sure to tune in and check it out.

Nowhere Slow will be playing this Monday, December 5th, at Heil's Place. This is a recently added date so be sure to come out Monday night with Nowhere Slow at Heil's.

Nowhere Slow has started recording again to finish what they started with Damn Time Machines and make a new album. The album, which will most likely be called, "A Stranger in the Alps", should be out in early 2006.

Nowhere Slow will be featured in an upcoming article in the Scranton Times this Sunday, Nov. 6. Chad Jennings wrote the article about the bands drive to make it big. Make sure to pick up your copy on Sunday.

The band will be playing at Tink's all night tonight and Heil's tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for coming out to our Halloween show.

The show this saturday (October 1st) was previously posted as a Tink's show but is changed to a Heil's show. -Hope to see you at HEIL'S this saturday (10/1/05)!

Nowhere Slow will be playing at Tinks all night tonight. The originally scheduled band cancelled so Nowhere Slow will be playing the whole night. The band will also be playing all night tomorrow night as well. See everyone at the shows.

The band has recently taken some time off for vacation purposes will be back in action starting Monday, August 22, 2005! Make sure you're there through out these next few weeks to end the summer right!

The band is currently finishing up mixing some live tracks. Once they are finished we will post them on the website. They include live versions of Cellar Door, New Moon, and an acoustic version of Ditto. The tracks will be sent out to follow up the original studio recordings sent out to the major record labels. Hopefully it won't be much longer until we hear some news. Thanks to all.

We have had a lot of questions about the Susquehanna show. Here are some details. There is an opening act at 11:30am and Nowhere Slow will start at 1:00pm. The show is outside, on the campus. A new song has been added to the MUSIC section this week. It's a song called The Greatest Story Never Told from the bands last full length album "2 Weeks".
